Breathe Life Project was launched in 2007 and for 14 years has covered 36 cities and 67 medical institutions in Kazakhstan.
Thanks to the funds raised, more than 100 thousand children's lives were saved. Hundreds of Kazakhstan neonatologists and nurses have completed advanced trainings.
During the Project’s entire implementation period for the raised amount of KZT 682.2 million donated by major sponsors and citizens of Kazakhstan the Foundation bought and delivered in hospitals:
116 phototherapy machines
13 lung ventilators (ALV)
9 neonatal incubators
24 intensive care unit beds
140 infusion and syringe dispensers
11 constant positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines
43 medical aspirators
26 patient monitors
2 anesthesia machines, defibrillator
9 electro encephalogram machines
and hundreds of other medical devices critical to saving newborn lives.
The Project continues because the Foundation still receives letters from children's hospitals and perinatal centers asking for help in purchasing resuscitation equipment.
