The goal of the Career Guidance project is to help children from orphanages and boarding schools in their social adaptation. We want children from these educational institutions, after graduation, to have useful practical skills that will help them live, continue to study and develop, but most importantly, find a job.
Over 6 years, we organized 12 courses, opened 19 special workshops, and attracted dozens of wonderful and caring people as teachers and project participants in boarding schools and orphanages all over Kazakhstan. We have trained 5 children in hairdressing, and one of these teenagers is already practicing in a real barber salon in Almaty, and a new group of 3 students has also been recruited. 60 children were trained in sewing skills. 80 attended courses in preparing European dishes at home, and one teenager is practicing at the Qaganat catering chain in Almaty.
The project is implemented in several stages:
We are looking for a boarding school or orphanage and find out their needs related to professional training for children, equipment and even repairs.
You can support 3 options of this program:
The first option is to transfer funds for opening workshops.
The second option is to transfer funds to pay for short-term career guidance courses for teenagers.
The third option is to become a volunteer and share your knowledge, useful tips and skills to them.
