RPMS STUDENTS RECEIVED LETTERS OF GRATITUDE FROM THE Foundation

08.10.2020

25 student volunteers from RPMS received certificates of gratitude from the school management and the president of the AYALA Foundation, Aidan Suleimenova!

Since January 2020, they have been working with 30 high school students from boarding schools No. 10, 15 and 17 in Almaty. They became tutors and prepared students in grades 9-11 in mathematics and physics for admission to universities and the specialized ARYSTAN military lyceum. Since April, this training has been carried out remotely via tablets provided by the AYALA Foundation.

Classes with volunteers supported the plans of children from low-income families to receive vocational secondary and higher education.

The management of the RPMS is completely FOR this initiative: “Such activities are beneficial both for society and for the students themselves. It develops their emotional intelligence and so-called soft skills,” says Aigul Dyusetaevna Seterbaeva, head of the Ayauly Balapan charity circle and the thought leader of this project.

Student volunteers replaced each other if one of them was unable to teach a lesson. Furthermore, they always fully fulfilled their academic workload at the RPMS. According to Aigul Dyusetaevna, behind the high assessment of a volunteer’s performance is his hard work and teacher’s mastery. In addition, repetition helped them consolidate the material they had learnt. It also developed such an important skill as responsibility for supervised schoolchildren.

“Development of communication skills, complete immersion in the topic being explained, a sense of mutual assistance in society, the mood to help and be useful where you are in the current moment, the need for social responsibility – these are the important values our students will take away from this project,” emphasized Aigul Dyusetaevna .

Of the 12 high school students of boarding school No. 10 this year, Insat Mukhtarov became a student at the ARYSTAN lyceum, and Nurmuhamed Zhambyluly from boarding school No. 17.

“I would like to say big thanks the RPMS’s management, who supported our commitment to online learning. Many thanks to the students and, of course, special words of great gratitude to Aigul Dyusetaevna, thanks to whom this project took place at all,” said Aidan Suleimenova, President of the AYALA Foundation.
