We thank the thousands of Kazakhstanis who help our Foundation through Kassa24 terminals. Whatever is affordable to them: 200, 500, sometimes a thousand tenge.

It seems like very little money. But our Foundation very carefully collects every tenge of transfers and donations. And when a sufficiently large amount is accumulated, we use it to purchase medical equipment.

Over several years of transfers through Kassa24 terminals, 8.6 million tenge have been collected. For this amount we purchased and installed an Icard M patient monitor at the Centre for Perinatology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery in Almaty.

The Icard M monitor is intended for use in operating rooms, intensive care wards and intensive care units of clinics and hospitals. It determines the functional state of the brain and makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the hypothermia unit use which our Foundation has already donated to this Centre. This will help save the intelligence and lives of hundreds of newborns.

In addition, the Icard M monitor measures temperature, as well as the degree of blood oxidation, respiratory rate and blood pressure non-invasively.
