Skills improvement of Kazakhstani doctors and expanding in the field of charitable medicine became the main points of the memorandum signed by the AYALA Charity Foundation with the Busan Economic Development Agency and with the Dong-A private clinic.
The documents are aimed at implementing joint work in the development of medical care in Almaty and Busan. The joint work of the parties involves the activation of charitable medicine, the exchange of advanced medical technologies and information, training of Kazakhstani children’s doctors and the provision of medical services to patients under sponsorship.
As the president of the AYALA Charity Foundation, Aidan Suleimenova, clarified, the Foundation works hard and actively to help improve the qualifications of doctors and nurses in Kazakhstan’s children’s hospitals, perinatal centres and maternity wards.
“As part of the AYALA Academy project, we organize courses, educational seminars and scientific and practical conferences, and publish methodological recommendations for practicing doctors based on scientific evidence. We also try to provide our doctors with the opportunity to gain practical knowledge in foreign clinics so that they can restore health and save the lives of children in Kazakhstan. And, of course, we are very pleased that the efforts of the Foundation in improving the quality of medical services in our country inspire confidence at the international level,” said Aidan Suleimenova and expressed hope that the cooperation of the parties will be productive and will help even more Kazakhstani children gain health.
It is worth noting that the cooperation of the AYALA Foundation with the Dong-A Clinic began with the arrival of the leading doctors of this clinic to Kazakhstan. With the assistance of the Foundation, on September 23 and 24, Professor of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology Bae Woo-Yong and Professor of the Department of Neurology Kim Jong Guk provided free consultations to patients under the age of 18 who are being treated at University Clinic No. 1 of the National Medical University (formerly Aksai Children’s Clinic) . Based on the results of these consultations, the Dong-A clinic will identify one child who will be invited to South Korea for free treatment for diseases relevant to this clinic.
As a reminder, this is the second clinic in South Korea with which the AYALA Charity Foundation is establishing close cooperation in the field of charitable pediatric medicine and skills improvement training of doctors. Since 2016, the Foundation has been implementing educational programs with Busan National University Hospital (BNUH). The BNUH specialists annually come to Kazakhstan to conduct joint appointments with patients in children’s hospitals They conduct training master classes and practical seminars for Kazakhstani doctors.
