We were visited by the Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Bektaevich Beisembayev. We showed him our office and told him how we planned the work of the Foundation. Showed the Trend Map, which was used when developing the Foundation’s strategy until 2030.
Then, together with representatives of NGOs at the office of our partners — gas station chain Gasenergy, we took part in a meeting on the problems of protecting and ensuring the protection of children’s rights.
The NGO leaders openly talked about existing problems with safety, with the protection of the rights to realize themselves in science for young people with special educational needs.
Much attention was paid to career guidance for children and adolescents. Our Foundation shared its experience. We talked about the workshops in the Orphanage for children with ODD in Karaganda and about Anvar Abilov, who became a sought-after barber shop master after completing career guidance courses while he was studying at a boarding school.
The meeting with Gani Bektaevich lasted almost 3 hours, who in conclusion thanked all its participants for their contribution to the protection of children’s rights. The vice minister plans to make such meetings regular, at least every two months.
