Our Foundation helps implement the #CodingLab project, a free school for developing mobile applications for Android smartphones from Samsung.

This school has been teaching high school and college students for 3 years. Over this period, more than 100 teenagers became its graduates This year, 40 youngsters were trained at #CodingLab. 24 works took part in the final defense. Selection of winners in 3 categories took place the other day.

Islam Abishov won in the Mobile Applications for Education category. He created a mobile application for learning a foreign language, “Amazing English”. According to the developer, this application helps learn English “on your own using effective, but most importantly, not boring methods”!

The application has 8 modules. It develops 4 main skills: speaking and writing, reading and listening comprehension of the English language. The application has embedded game modules to test the correct perception of the material covered. It allows to create an individual training plan, which is not possible in most similar applications.

The Books module in Amazing English offers digital and audio versions of the most popular books in English. The application also has a chat that allows to consolidate language skills by communicating with people in real time from all over the world!

This is truly an amazing result of working from October to June, considering that all training has been online since March!
