On October 8, volunteers of the charity Ayauly Balapan club from the RPMS resumed tutoring for schoolchildren in grades 7-9 of boarding schools No. 10 and No. 17 in Almaty. Classes are conducted online.

This year volunteers are tutoring with 38 students: 23 students from Boarding School No. 10 and 15 from Boarding School No. 17. They teach classes from 16.00 to 17.00, five times a week. Sessions are held on Google Meet and Zoom.

Students of 10-11 grades of RPMS act as mentors of this project. These are Ismailov Bogenbai, Zhaksylykov Erkebulan and Akbaeva Anelya from 11 “B”, Userova Sabilla from 11 “D”, Suleimen Habiba and Batyrbek Temirlan from 10 “C”.

“We are role models for those who want to become volunteers and are ready to help others. We are ready to talk about organizational issues of tutoring during self-isolation, as we have relevant experience. We hope our help will be continued in other schools and universities in all cities of our country,” noted the RPMS mentors.

“With distance learning, even us Physics and Mathematics students sometimes find it difficult to understand the topics. By helping others, we consolidated the material we had learnt. When we saw that our students enrolled into Arystan, it gave us confidence that the help in training was needed. Our charitable activities continue, we move forward, increasing good deeds,” noted the volunteers of the “Ayauly Balapan” circle.
