AYALA Foundation has been equipping intensive care units of perinatal Centres and children’s hospitals in our country for 15 years.
In February, with the support of BAYER Kazakhstan, the Perinatal Centre of the oblast Hospital in Kostanay received a new incubator for intensive care of premature newborns, five neonatal pulse oximeters and an electric suction unit.
“Our perinatal Centre annually receives about 6,000 births from all over the oblast. We welcome all newborn babies as the most long-awaited, ready to provide them and their moms with all the necessary medical care. Of course, we pay special attention to caring for babies with critically low body weight. Intensive care incubators are the main assistant to our doctors, indispensable in saving premature babies. Neonatal pulse oximeters allow to accurately and quickly determine the level of oxygen saturation in the blood, which directly affects the safety of the central nervous system of newborns. We are very pleased to receive a set of modern, reliable equipment and thank AYALA Foundation and the BAYER for this,” said Arman Esetovich Baimagambetov, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the oblast Hospital of Kostanay
And we sincerely thank our sponsor — the BAYER Kazakhstan company for supporting our Power of Care and significant contribution to reducing infant mortality and disability in Kazakhstan!
