Like all Kazakhstanis, we are very glad that quarantine measures have been eased. But the stepped up work and protection pattern is still active in hospitals. That’s why we continue to help doctors do their jobs in challenging conditions.
This week we donated household appliances and food to the doctors and medical staff of the Multidisciplinary City Children’s Hospital (MCCH) No. 3 in Nur-Sultan. Doctors at the Children’s City Infectious Diseases Hospital received 15 thousand medical masks as a gift. The total amount of assistance is 1,371,324 tenge, it was provided by the president of the AYALA Foundation, Aidan Tuleutaevna Suleimenova.
In total, we have bought 10 mini-fridges, 10 microwave ovens, 10 electric kettles and 10 thermal pots. And another 27 different products: candies, cookies, nuts, dried fruits, tea, coffee, paper towels, napkins and disposable tableware. Anything that will help doctors quickly restore their strength and continue working to help children recover.
The MCCH No. 3 employs 230 doctors and nurses. It is modern and very large, designed for 444 beds. Now medical care is provided there non-stop. Therefore, household appliances will help doctors save time in simple everyday situations.
Hot water in thermal pots, tea, coffee, dried fruits, cookies and sweets — for a quick snack. Refrigerators to store milk, lunches and dinners. Believe me, even little things like this help doctors feel much better.
“On behalf of the staff and administration of our hospital, we would like to thank the AYALA Foundation for the help we need. During these hard days, we were supported with food, household appliances, and personal hygiene items. I would like to wish all the employees of the Foundation good health and good luck in all their endeavors and projects!” — said the doctors of the Multidisciplinary City Children’s Hospital No. 3.
