The campaign is being carried out in stages throughout 2021 on the initiative of the Halyk Charity Foundation in all oblasts of Kazakhstan. In July, throughout the country, it covers 20 thousand low-income and large families, as well as families raising children with special needs. In total, they will receive more than 1 million kilograms of products worth 500 million tenge.

The assistance of the AYALA Charity Foundation of the Karaganda oblast has already become a good tradition this year. In March, the Foundation provided food baskets to 1,000 families from 17 cities and towns in the oblast: Karaganda, Balkhash, Zhezkazgan, Priozersk, Satpayev, Saran, Temirtau, Shakhtinsk, Abay, Aktogay, Bukharzhyrau, Zhanaarka, Karkaraly, Nury, Osakarovka, Ulytau and Sheta.

In July, 1,250 families in the oblast who find themselves in difficult financial situations receive food baskets from AYALA. Each 50 kg basket contains rice, buckwheat, flour, pasta, vegetable oil, stew, sugar, tea and candy. Residents of the oblast responded with great appreciation and gratitude to the food assistance provided by the Foundation.

“Receiving support, participation, and responsiveness is very important when you are in a difficult life situation. Karaganda residents have become especially close this year for our Foundation. We help them not only with food baskets. In June, our Foundation installed modern resuscitation equipment at the Regional Hospital, which has already saved the lives of 4 newborns with severe asphyxia during childbirth. We helped install 2 TOMATIS units in special boarding school No. 5 in Temirtau and in the psychological and pedagogical correction room No. 3 in Karaganda for the corrective development of children with special educational needs. We have many more good deeds planned before the end of this year. They will allow to cover thousands of residents of the Karaganda region with the power of our Foundation’s care,” noted Aidan Suleimenova, President of the AYALA Charity Foundation.

Delivery of food baskets as part of the “El Tiregi — Elbasy” campaign in the Karaganda region will continue until July 30, 2021.
