Aidan Suleymenova, the Founder and the President of AYALA Charitable Foundation, participated in the meeting of leading charitable foundations of the country at the invitation of HALYK Charitable Fund.

Aidan shared the work results and achievements of our foundation. She told how we helped to reduce the retinopathy-induced vision disability in preterm infants; shared the experience of fetal surgery launch in Kazakhstan. The president of AYALA Charitable Foundation and other speakers discussed the principal trends and challenges in the charitable field in our country.

Gulbara Sultanova, the Chairwoman of the Committee on Civil Society Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, shared her opinion on the state participation in the charitable organization support and emphasized the importance of interaction between the governmental agencies and civil society.

Saginbek Shunkeyev, the Director of HALYK Charitable Fund, said that various social initiatives and projects of HALYK Fund play a big role in the charity field in Kazakhstan. Besides the social society development in the country, HALYK Fund also supports the educational, healthcare and sport fields. The principal objective of the Fund is to improve the welfare of population.

At the end of the meeting, Aidan Suleymenova received the honorary award from HALYK Fund for the active contribution to the charitable field in the country.
