Aidan Suleimenova, the Founder and President of AYALA Foundation, has delivered a report at Ana Men Bala (Mother and Child) Medical Conference in Almaty. This is the largest professional event for leading obstetrician-gynecologists of Kazakhstan.

Aidan Tuleutayevna told how our Foundation helped the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan to develop fetal surgery in Kazakhstan:

• With a group of doctors of the Centre for Perinatology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery we visited the Ural Research Institute of Maternity and Child Care Federal State Budgetary Institution in Yekaterinburg.
• Met N.V. Kosovtsova, a leading Russian fetal surgeon.
• Learned about the work algorithms, resuscitation department equipment, and developed a project implementation plan.
• Attended the World Congress on Fetal Surgery in Spain.
• Visited the XXIV Mother and Child Forum, met Moscow leading fetal surgeons and learned about their achievements.
• Supported the 1^st International Congress of Perinatal Medicine Specialists in Astana. Organized speaking engagement of 2 lectors: N.V. Kosovtsova and A.Yu. Blinov, ultrasonographer, candidate of medical sciences.
• With a group of doctors we visited “State-of-the art perinatal technologies in addressing issues of demographic safety” Research-to-Practice Conference in Minsk. We met M.V. Beluga, a fetal surgeon, and learned about Byelorussian expertise in fetal medicine.
• Using the money donated by GASENERGY Company we have bought and transferred laser equipment лазер and set of fetoscopes for fetal surgery at the Center for Perinatology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery of Almaty.
• With support of Almaty Public Health Department we organized a lecture on Medicine of Fetus by Mark Arkadyevich Kurtser. The lecture was attended by over 200 specialists and residents, and more than 500 listeners all over Kazakhstan joined the online-translation.
• We sent doctors from the Center for Perinatology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery of Almaty and National Research Center for Maternity and Childhood in Astana for studying at the course of Fetal Medicine in Yekaterinburg.
• We sent doctors from the Center for Perinatology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery of Almaty to Moscow where they attended fetal operation “Laser coagulation of placental anastomoses in feto-fetal transfusion syndrome in monochorionic twins” at Mother and Child private center.
• Training of a team of 4 doctors from the Center for Perinatology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery of Almaty at the course of Fetal Medicine in Delhi (India) is planned for this year.
