Our Foundation helped the ArcelorMittal company make a very important and necessary gift for psychological and learning disability office No. 5 in Temirtau and the Psychological and Pedagogical Correction Office No. 3 in Karaganda.
Both of these institutions received one TOMATIS unit complete with headphones.
TOMATIS is a method of brain stimulation developed by the French otolaryngologist Alfred Tomatis in the early 50s of the 20th century. It improves the brain’s ability to perceive and process auditory information.
The acting director of the psychological and learning disability office No. 3, Karakoz Danyshpanovna Dusbaeva, commented on this event as follows:
“Any sponsorship is very important to us, since we are a young organization, we have only been working for three years. We express our deep gratitude to the AYALA Charity Foundation and the ArcelorMittal Temirtau for sponsorship in training using the TIMATIS method and in purchasing this equipment. We educate children with special educational needs and various diagnoses. In Karaganda, only 5 specialists were trained in this method, so for us it is a great honor and opportunity to be among them.”
