Air Astana has hosted the ESG Awards ceremony to honor its partners that contribute to the company’s sustainable development initiatives. The ESG Awards were given for the first time to company’s partners for their contribution to the implementation of Air Astana’s ESG principles (environment, social responsibility, corporate governance).
AYALA Charity Foundation received the ESG Award from Air Astana for many years of fruitful cooperation in the field of charity.
The event aims to recognize the achievements of partners in various categories in such areas as in-flight service, occupational health and safety, personnel training and development, environment, flight safety, charity, etc., as well as to raise awareness of the company’s ESG initiatives.
Partners were evaluated on a number of key criteria, including long-term and reliable cooperation, support for the company’s corporate goals, flexibility and initiative, and commitment to the ESG principles.
Yulia Lim, Director of Sustainability Department at Air Astana: «We are sincerely proud of our partners who share ESG values and help us put them into practice, because it is only through partnership and joint efforts that real change can be achieved. This was the basis for establishing the ESG Awards — not just a prize, but a symbol of our appreciation for the contributions to promoting the ESG principles and shaping a sustainable future”.
