This week, as part of Samsung’s sponsorship project, we delivered food baskets to 40 veterans for a total amountg of 669,232 tenge.

Since January of this year, our Foundation has been delivering food to every veteran every month. And during the period of quarantine measures, we do this contact-free and as safe as possible for older people.

What our care recepients get: sausage, cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, cream, milk and fermented milk products, sunflower oil, pasta, buckwheat, rice, millet, pasta, canned fish, meat and vegetables. We don’t forget about vitamins: the basket contains oranges, lemons, bananas, herbs, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, carrots, cabbage and potatoes. We also put hygiene products in it — soap and powder.

Veterans are waiting for our food baskets with great gratitude! And we are very glad that we can help them cope and survive such a tough time.
