On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence, 1,000 low-income families from 11 cities and towns and 7 oblast Centres of the Karaganda oblast received food baskets from AYALA Foundation as part of the “El Tiregi — Elbasy” campaign

Each basket contains rice, buckwheat, flour, pasta, vegetable oil, stew, sugar, tea and candy. This is already the third food distribution that the Foundation has conducted this year in support of the initiative of the Halyk Charity Foundation.

All families covered by our Foundation receive targeted social assistance; many are raising children with disabilities. 50-kilogram baskets were delivered to 202 families, 50-kilogram kits were delivered to 202 families living in the Kazbek bi district, and 384 families from the Bokeykhan district of Karaganda In Balkhash, 11 families received the baskets, in Zhezkazgan — 161, in Priozersk — 14, in Satpayev — 80, in Saran — 13, in Temirtau — 61, in Shakhtinsk — 17, in Abay — 25, in Aktogay — 11, in Karazhal — 10. And another 457 food baskets were received by needy families in Ulytau, Osakarovsky, Bukhar-Zhyrau, Shetsky, Nura, Karkaraly and Zhanaarka districts.

And in total this year, our Foundation has allocated more than 135 million tenge for the implementation of seven charitable projects in the Karaganda oblast! These are low-income families, two orphanages, psychological and learning disability office No. 3, Special Boarding School No. 5 in Temirtau, the oblast Hospital and the Mother and Child Centre in Temirtau, in the intensive care unit of which a ventilator with non-invasive function will be installed at the beginning of 2022. ventilation in premature newborns and 3 phototherapy lamps.
